MyStoreSpecials^TM Rewards Program

MyStoreSpecials^TM reward points are allocated to user accounts on the basis of activity on the Store Specials web site. For example, for each unique search ( with a new valid** search word ) 1 reward point is assigned to a user account.

Rules
By using this site and participating in the MyStoreSpecials Rewards Program you agree to certain rules pertaining to the use of the Site and the redemption and accumulation of Reward Points. Generally speaking the following rules apply:

An official "MyStoreSpecials, Points Exchange System" will be established no earlier than March 2009 and it will offer registered users the opportunity to trade / exchange their Reward Points for products and discounts through participating Retailers.
At the moment, the anticipated trade value of 400 Reward Points is $1.00 AUD. Please note, until the "MyStoreSpecials, Points Exchange System" is officially launched and product details and Reward Point Values matched, these values are subject to change and Store Specials Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter the value of a Reward Point and it's corresponding trade value.
All activites relating to the accumulation of MyStoreSpecials Rewards Points are subject to verification, audit and the discretion of Store Specials Pty Ltd. Store Specials reserves the right to refuse access, prohibit, block and reject participation from users and associated parties for any reason

Points Collation and Auditing
All points collected through the MyStoreSpecials Rewards Program are subject to validation and audit. Store Specials will strictly enforce the Code of Points Accrual. Generally, you should understand:

Points accumulated through activities ( besides registration and profile points ) will appear as a daily points total. The daily points are a maximum of 40 per day ( see below ).
Daily Points cannot be used for bidding or transactions of any kind until after they are audited in the "Overnight Audit".
The Total Points Total only includes points before today.
The "Overnight Audit" is one of 3 Audits that will be conducted on User Account Points from time to time.
Other Audits are conducted on Points Rewards Accounts from time to time to ensure that there are no inconsistencies in the Points data. Any inconsistencies may or may not be advised depending on circumstances that are the discretion of Store Specials.

MyStoreSpecials^TM - Reward Points for activities.
The following table shows the reward points you will collect for each activity on the web site. You may wish to check back regularly as this table can be updated at any time.

Adding a Screen Name to your Profile Details	20 points	You must be registered. Points appear immediately on your Points Total.
Adding your Post Code to your Profile Details	30 points	You must be registered. Points appear immediately on your Points Total.
Adding your Mobile Phone Number to your Profile Details	40 points	You must be registered. Points appear immediately on your Points Total.
Adding your Postal Address* to your Profile Details	40 points	You must be registered. Points appear immediately on your Points Total.
Adding your Gender* to your Profile Details	10 points	You must be registered. Points appear immediately on your Points Total.
Adding your Date Of Birth* to your Profile Details	30 points	You must be registered. Points appear immediately on your Points Total.

Text Searches**	1 point per search. Maximum 15 per day.	You must be registered and logged in Points are audited overnight and appear on your Points Total the next day.
Viewing a Product on Special***	1 point per product view. Maximum 15 per day.	You must be registered and logged in Points are audited overnight and appear on your Points Total the next day.
Rating a Product	1 points per product rating. Maximum 15 points per day.	You must be registered and logged in Points are audited overnight and appear on your Points Total the next day.
Adding a Comment to a Product (Coming Soon)	5 points per Comment. Maximum 10 points per day.	You must be registered and have a Screen Name. Points are audited overnight and appear on your Points Total the next day.

* We do not require your Postal Address. We store Postal Addresses so the postal of daily prizes can proceed effectively. Please provide your Postal Address to ensure effective delivery.

** A maximum of 15 Store Points can be accumulated from "Searching Activities" every day ( Each "new valid search" is worth 1 Store Point ). This maximum reflects our desire to have you search our site and your desire to participate with the web site without enabling user accounts to be falsely bloated with searches that are of no honest interest.

A new valid search is a search phrase that is not included inside a previous search phrase comitted on the same day. Eg. Searching for "jeans" - after searching for "blue jeans" - is not a new valid search. Searching for "mp3s" and then searching for "mp3" is 2 new valid searches equating to 2 Reward Points for the day.

Please Note: Store Specials reserves the right to change the definition of a "new valid search" to ensure that search terms are "new" and "valid" in relation to the overall functioning of the English Language and it's usage. At the moment plurals are excepted as new and valid when searched before the singular but that may not always be the case. We will advise of you changes.

*** A maximum of 15 Store Points can be accumulated from "Viewing Products" every day ( Each unique product view is worth 1 Store Point ). This maximum reflects our desire to have you search our site and your desire to participate with the web site without enabling user accounts to be falsely bloated with views that are of no honest interest.
